Communication is at the heart of our practice.
Central Ohio Surgical Associates was created in 2011 after two central Ohio surgical groups merged in order to provide their patients the best possible surgical care. Metropolitan Surgery, founded in 1975, and Mid Ohio Surgical Associates, founded in 1982, have always maintained a close working relationship as individual practices. However, the partners realized that merging forces allowed their patients even greater opportunities and surgical care, and as such, Central Ohio Surgical Associates was created. Our team of board-certified and board-eligible surgeons specialize in a wide range of surgeries, from general surgery to today’s most complex and specialized procedures. Our procedures are scheduled at Mount Carmel West and Mount Carmel East Hospital—institutions renowned for their dedicated surgical support staff, state-of-the-art surgical instrumentation, and quality of nursing care. Some surgical procedures are also performed at outpatient surgical centers located very near to these campuses. Your surgeon may suggest having your procedure performed there, depending upon your unique circumstances. We welcome your questions about our team, our procedures, and our practice.
